Vander Park is situated in western Moscow which is characterised by its modernist layout, woodlands and the river Moskva. The complex is organised around a central garden court defined by a low plinth with eight towers on top.
Facing the surrounding streets, the 6 metre high ground floor accommodates commercial space and, along the inner court, amenities for the residents, such as sports facilities and children’s day-care. The residential towers, 18 to 26 stories tall, are positioned to articulate prominent corners and allow for splendid views from each of the apartments.

The eight towers are designed as sequences of stacked volumes clad in brickwork of different colours, lending a distinct identity to Vander Park on the Moscow skyline. In contrast, the plinth is covered in darker brick with a more tactile character, reflecting the smaller scale of the street.
The courtyard, designed by West 8, has a canopy as its centrepiece, offering protecting in bad weather. Along the perimeter a pedestrian walkway on top of the high ground floor softens the transition between the garden court and the tall towers.
