The president and her two deputies together form the Executive Board of EuroWindoor. In the online meeting, Nicolas Dupin (VELUX / Denmark) was newly elected and Franz Hauk (F.R. Hauk Stahl- und Leichtmetallbau GmbH) re-elected as her two vice-presidents, also unanimously.
Who is Verena Oberrauch?
Verena Oberrauch was born in 1977 in Bolzano in South Tyrol and has been working at the company Finstral that her family founded since 2010. She is currently a member of Finstral's Board of Directors as Head of the Business Unit Belgium, Switzerland and Austria. Oberrauch, who is fluent in German, English, French and Italian, studied international politics at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree, and then went on to earn a Master's degree in business administration at the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan. After her studies and before joining Finstral, Oberrauch worked for many years in international development cooperation.

The EuroWindoor AGM thanked the previous president and vice-presidents Joachim Oberrauch, Helle Carlsen Nielsen and Franz Hauk for their commitment to establishing and strengthening EuroWindoor as a European interest group on the European stage since its foundation in 2015. Under their six-year leadership, the European association community became a valued stakeholder for established EU institutions - for example, in the development of legal framework conditions for the European window, door and facade sector.

Important focal points were and are: Energy efficiency, health and environment, research and education as well as CE labelling and standardisation. Joachim Oberrauch and Helle Carlsen Nielsen have taken on new roles in their respective companies and were therefore not available for another term of office.
