"Designing added value" is the focus of the Hegla, Hegla-Hanic and Hegla boraident exhibition stand. On display will be a ProLam LSR LSG cutting machine, a range of new laser applications and a completely new ERP system.
Seeing the ProLam LSR LSG cutting system with laser diode heating live. "The targeted, punctual application of heat to the cutting contour accelerates the cutting process by 20 per cent and more," explains Hegla Managing Director Bernhard Hötger. "The special feature of film cutting by laser: the surrounding edge remains cold, so that at the same time the risk of delamination is systematically reduced and, moreover, follow-up cuts are possible without waiting time."
Laser processing: Hegla boraident presents a new option for the subsequent functionalisation of facade glass. Glasses against bird strike and for better mobile phone transmission will be shown by Thomas Rainer.
The laser solutions CellFree Mobile and BirdFriend Mobile can be used to process facades on site and even years later. To reduce mobile radio attenuation, the metallic functional layers of Low-E are transformed with extremely thin lines so that the high-frequency communication waves can pass through the glass pane without attenuation.
And for bird protection glass, small dots are laser-transfer-printed at intervals of 5 cm, which can then be perceived as an obstacle by birds.
Hegla is at Vitrum in Hall 7P, Stand K22
