Gutmann: A family home with a surprise in store

The curtain-type wooden facade of vertical oak strips seamlessly integrates the garage door, entrance door and house number as well as the letterbox and intercom system. From the entrance area in the ground floor, a narrow staircase with a vaulted ceiling and dome light leads to the living floor. On the garden side, the facade opens up to the garden with generous glass surfaces, a widely cantilevered roof projection provides shade on hot summer days and weather protection in the transition period.

Inside, the building surprises with light-flooded rooms and an open floor plan. The visible screed floor laid throughout the building emphasises the merging of the different areas. The extensive glazing allows a view of the garden and terrace.

Here the wood-aluminium system Mira from Gutmann was used. With its wide range of profiles, it offers tailor-made solutions for every requirement, for residential buildings as well as for commercial buildings. All common window constructions, opening types and window shapes, including slanted windows, round, segmental or pointed arches, can be executed in a variety of profile designs.
