On the top floor, the restaurant The Harbour Club attracts visitors with its first-class cuisine and a conservatory-style terrace that offers unique views over The Hague. The historic building complex from the 1960s houses 40,000 square metres of studios, co-working spaces and offices. The top floor is home to the trendy Harbour Club.
With seating for 400 guests, the restaurant is now one of the most popular in the city. The interior combines the industrial feel of the former factory floor with a design that exudes a touch of glamour.
Cosy atmosphere and energy efficiency
The conservatory directly abutting the width of the restaurant offers a breath-taking panorama of the skyline of The Hague. This part of the Harbour Club can be used all year round. This is possible thanks to a thermally insulated roof system in combination with a folding glass wall on top of a parapet.

With the SDL Akzent plus conservatory roof system from Solarlux, the filigree rafters with a length of 4.30 m give the roof a slim appearance and ensure maximum daylight. The external structural design creates a flat roof surface on the inside and gives the roof an appearance of lightness. Low U-values guarantee a cosy atmosphere and energy efficiency at the same time.
Large opening, unobstructed view
Over a length of more than 27 metres, the Ecoline folding glass door from Solarlux, which is also thermally insulated, was integrated on a parapet. Despite its construction depth of 67 mm, it offers a slim face width of 99 mm at the sash joint. The reason for this is the heart of the folding glass door, the bionicTurtle: a multifunctional insulating web that also provides structural stability to the profiles.
