heroal and Solarlux

Cooperation of two German giants finalised at BAU 2024

by Daniel Mund, Editor-in-Chief of Glaswelt

At BAU 2024 in Munich, the aluminium system house heroal and the window and facade manufacturer Solarlux announced their collaboration. Two leading companies in the industry are pooling their expertise to offer building owners, metal fabricators and specialist retailers innovative solutions and clear added value.

Project-specific support from a single source

The aim of the co-operation is to provide project-specific solutions from a single source. Both companies combine their consulting, service and product expertise to support specialist companies in the realisation of demanding construction projects. This benefits not only the companies themselves, but also building owners and investors, who gain more planning security and flexibility.

Maximum flexibility through harmonised systems

The collaboration expands the respective portfolios with perfectly harmonised quality products and system solutions - developed and produced in Germany. This synergy not only ensures technological excellence, but also economic benefits through additional orders and a stronger market presence.

In the German-speaking region in particular, the partnership is intended to increase the competitiveness of metal construction companies and the specialised trade. With a focus on standard solutions and customised products, the cooperation stands for sustainability and innovation in the construction industry.

The cooperation kicks off with the Highline and Ecoline folding glass wall systems from Solarlux, which are now also available from heroal. Conversely, the heroal W 77 i block window system and the D 72 aluminium door system with panic hardware have been added to the Solarlux range. Further products from the comprehensive portfolios of both companies are to follow.

Stand shows benefits of cooperation

‘Our partnership offers specialist dealers and metal construction companies a perfectly coordinated product portfolio that meets the highest technical and design standards while offering a wide range of added value through innovative details and maximum efficiency,’ explains Max Schöne, Managing Director of heroal.

The advantages of the partnership were impressively demonstrated at BAU: At the heroal exhibition stand, a folding glass wall from Solarlux integrated the mullion-and-transom facade from heroal. This joint exhibit illustrates how the systems interlock and the possibilities that open up in practice.
