3 answers: Coloured BIPV modules for functionality and sophistication

GW-News: How can facade builders use coloured PV modules in practice?

Holger Geisler: Facade builders benefit from the fact that our coloured modules can be installed just as easily as conventional components. The modules are specially designed to be integrated into existing systems without requiring any adjustments to the substantial installation. This simplification is a great advantage, especially for larger projects.

GW-News: What opportunities do you see for coloured solar modules in the context of sustainable architecture?

Coloured solar modules make it possible to combine architecture and sustainable technology without compromising on aesthetics. Our ColorQuant technology also offers the opportunity to use facades as a design statement – an important argument to convince building owners and architects alike. With our colours, we show that facades with coloured PV elements can not only be functional, but also visually sophisticated.

GW-News: What makes your specially developed PV colours stand out in particular?

Not only do we offer the world's largest selection of colours, we can also develop colours for individual projects. Architects and module manufacturers can request individual colours from us for specific projects. We also archive every colour mixture so that it can be reproduced at any time - even years later. No other colour supplier has yet achieved this level of adaptability.
