The Hueck Lambda WS/DS 075/090 by Hueck offers not only a great variability in thermal insulation up to the passive house standard, but also a multitude of scalable options in sound insulation and security, according to the developers.

Further strengths of the system, which has been thought out down to the last detail, are its flexible application options and combinability - among others with the Hueck Trigon FS facade system.
What do the planners want, what do the facade builders need from Hueck?
For building in an urban environment, adapted sound insulation, variable security options, high thermal insulation and certified sustainability are in demand today. "At the same time, architects and planners want filigree views, transparency and a high degree of design freedom," knows Thomas Leimkühler, Head of Hueck System Management.

In order to meet all these requirements, two tried and tested series have now been combined in a consistent, modular system for Hueck Lambda WS/DS 075/090. "The result is a true multi-talent," says Leimkühler. "I'm currently not aware of any system on the market that is so versatile, so scalable, so combinable and so economical to process."
The system of many possibilities
Since the modular system offers completely uniform views in the two basic depths of 75 and 90 mm, it opens up a multitude of possibilities in terms of transparency, thermal insulation, sound insulation and security. For example, sash weights of up to 300 kg and sash dimensions of up to 1635 mm width or 2835 mm height are possible for the windows.
The windows of the series can be designed with an integrated sash, as well as opening outwards, as a window façade, as a ventilation flap and with a French balcony. The modular system offers the same variability for the doors: with sash weights up to 300 kg, sash widths up to 1500 and heights up to 3100 mm. A wide variety of door hinges and lock solutions open up an additional bandwidth, ranging from economical doors to elegant commercial and entrance doors.

Another highlight of the modular window and door system: it can be easily combined with the innovative Hueck Trigon FS facade system. This intelligently designed, versatile solution is not only available in the three face widths 40, 50 and 60 mm, but can also be optionally designed as a mullion-transom or transom-transom construction, as well as a structural glazing facade.
Optimised down to the last detail
"We have been consistently implementing the equal-parts principle and the practice-optimised processing from the metalworker's point of view for a very long time," explains Jens Kochheim, the Hueck product manager responsible for the window sector. The symmetrical geometries of both basic depths allow the use of uniform connectors, glazing systems, accessories and fittings across all series.

All variable options, such as thermal insulation, intrusion protection or sound insulation, can be implemented with comparatively little installation effort.
"The top class is still our innovative window fitting Hueck GEN 4.0, which can be installed unrivalled fast with standard installation times of only three minutes even in concealed design", says Kochheim. The Hueck engineers have also reduced the installation effort for the roller door hinges to a minimum with a patented clamping technology.
This is how to implement intrusion protection economically
Depending on requirements, windows and doors of the Hueck Lambda WS/DS 075/090 series can be equipped with certified intrusion protection up to RC3. "Especially with our windows, the intrusion protection is unrivalled in its rational installation and thus particularly economical," Kochheim emphasises. "It can actually be retrofitted without any problems, without having to remove the window."
For door security, the modular system offers intrusion protection as well as escape door functions with numerous scalable and combinable options for emergency exit and panic doors. Hueck Lambda DS 075/090 leaves hardly any wishes unfulfilled, whether simple mechanical escape doors are required or a smart high-end solution with a kindergarten lock and door guard. The range also includes a double-leaf full-panel door with certified RC3 intrusion protection.

The thermal insulation of Hueck Lambda WS/DS 075/090 can also be adapted to the respective requirements. With the thermal options "eco", "plus" and "pro", solutions up to the certified passive house standard are also on offer. and with Hueck Lambda WS 075/090, soundproof windows with a sound insulation reduction of up to 49 decibels can be realised and combined with standard windows with the same external appearance.
Certified sustainability
Today, property developers, planners and architects are increasingly faced with the challenge of working in a way that is as environmentally friendly and resource-friendly as possible. "Hueck Lambda WS/DS 075/090 meets this demand," says Thomas Leimkühler. "Even during the development of this system solution, our designers focused on efficient use of resources, optimal recyclability, good exchangeability and retrofittability, low maintenance and long service life."
In addition, Hueck Lambda WS/DS 075/090 has an EPD and is certified according to Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C).
