kama Maschinenbau GmbH is active in the special machine construction segment and in automation technology. The facade of the old production hall had long since fallen into disrepair.

Sabine Magdt, managing partner, explains: "The window panes were still single glazed, the rest of the facade consisted of opaque satinised single glazing. The lighting conditions in the hall were not optimal, so when the sun came in we used internal blinds for sun and glare protection. These broke down again and again. Therefore, we were very impressed with the Kuzman Invision facade solution with ISOscreen blinds. Especially since subsidies could also be obtained for the energy renovation."
Now a visually appealing facade
With the new triple insulating glass in the window areas, the solar and privacy elements are integrated directly into the ISO units. The ISOscreen blinds lie in the space between the panes, absolutely protected from dust, dirt, damage and environmental influences such as wind and rain.
However, the internal blinds are not only used for darkening or as sun protection, but also make the rooms brighter. Because with their specially arranged slats, they direct the sunlight deep into the room. The individual blind systems can be moved manually or automatically at the push of a button or time-controlled.

Visually, there is another special highlight on the facade. Between the window areas are LED screen facade panels that glow blue at night in the company colour. During the day, they are perfectly matched to the concrete wall in plaster look, so they are not visually noticeable. These LED screen facade panels were bonded as sandwich panels with insulation boards in order to guarantee the required thermal insulation.
Another advantage of the LEDscreen facade panels is that the ultra-flat design elements can be attached to almost any surface.
