Tennis legend Boris Becker to advertise Fensterversand.com on German TV

Not too long ago, the marketing analyst Research Tools had named the platform Fensterversand.com to be top when it comes to visibility on the internet. Now the company is making a name for itself again - on the front page of the German Sunday tabloid Bild am Sonntag and soon in advertising clips before and after the news and in the context of the sports programme "Sportschau".

The company behind it, Neuffer Fenster from Stuttgart (part of the IFN-Fenster Group), is using Boris Becker for even more attention and has engaged the legendary tennis player as a testimonial.

Self-ironic ads about a serious issue

"I had known Boris Becker for a long time and wanted to win him as an advertising partner years ago," Philipp Neuffer says. "For us, he is not only one of the best German ambassadors, but also a testimonial that perfectly reaches our beneficiary groups with his charm and likeable self-irony." Now the opportunity would have arisen, and IFN Holding, to which Neuffer Fenster belongs, also agreed to the advertising deal. The filming with the professional was quickly in the can, "we were able to use a house in Stuttgart's semi-hilly location for this."

The first ads would be broadcast as early as this week. Boris Becker says about the contract with Neuffer Fenster: "The ad is satire and self-irony. Not throwing money out of the window is a message that concerns us all and is an issue beyond Germany, especially in this day and age. That's why I found it such an exciting idea and quickly agreed after I got to know the company in Stuttgart."

Raising awareness in the real world

Content of the video: Boris Becker enters the chic villa and throws plenty of banknotes out of the window. Accordingly, the main theme of the 30-second ad: "Don't throw your money out the window."

Philipp Neuffer is looking forward to what is still to come in connection with the deal and believes in the success of the campaign: "We are prepared, based on past campaigns, for very high demand. As far as visibility on the internet is concerned, we have already done our homework - with this campaign we also want to make people in the offline world aware of what we have to offer." This week, Neuffer and Boris Becker are going to Berlin - where 80 press representatives will be waiting for them.

Stuttgart headquarters already getting too small

In general, the company with its Stuttgart location is set up for growth - nevertheless, Neuffer admits that the headquarters in Stuttgart city centre with its 92 staff is already getting too small again. And the company is continuing to expand.
