Facade installed more quickly with gsp elements

The new four-storey building for the A. Müller dairy adjoins the existing building and contains modern offices, a conference zone and the new company restaurant.

The clear architecture of the facade is created by the white glass surface and element lengths of up to 12 metres. In order to maintain the harmonious all-glass look across the entire surface, some sedak gsp panels are designed as stepped elements - they conceal the external venetian blind packages of the external sun protection system.

Optimised insulation with sedak gsp elements

The sandwich panel (PUR variant / 100 mm / U-value 0.25 W/m²K) insulates the new building. Some elements are manufactured with a mineral wool core as a fire protection axis in accordance with the fire protection specifications.

"With sedak gsp, an energy-efficient and elegant glass facade can be realised economically. A conventional sandwich panel provides the wall and insulation. The customisable glass surface can then be used to create something special and set accents in terms of corporate architecture. The new dairy building is an appealing example of this: Sustainability and design are smartly combined," says sedak product manager Bernd Rösch.

Quick installation thanks to large-format gsp elements

The construction of the facade elements is also efficient. The assembly principle of sedak gsp using tongue and groove joints shortens the construction time, as the facade element is installed as a complete component in a single assembly step. This economic aspect is a particularly good argument for building owners.
