Generous openings for the outside effect in the interior: this is what the folding glass doors from Solarlux are known for. The connected glass elements can simply be slid to the side and folded together as a space-saving package. Thanks to the sophisticated technology, the entire facade of a living room or swimming pool can be opened.
Depending on the construction situation, any number of glass elements can be lined up. Each individual element can be up to 3.5 m high and over one metre wide. This creates a glass facade of unlimited length that is suitable for numerous applications, such as a classic exterior element in a private living space, a multifunctional business entrance or noise and weather protection when used as balcony or facade glazing. There are no limits to the size of the facade opening.
How does the folding glass wall adjust for height differences?
At the same time, the installation requires extreme precision. This is because, depending on the width of the frame and the nature of the building structure, it is cantilevered when the folding glass door is installed, so that a subsequent adjustment option is obligatory.

To ensure that this height adjustment can be carried out with little effort, Solarlux has developed a new levelling profile for its Highline and Ecoline aluminium folding glass doors. The height compensation profile, which encloses the upper frame in a U-shape, is equipped with an adjustment screw for fastening to the building structure. This allows it to be adjusted to the changed building gap at any time. This means that the frame does not have to be dismounted, adjusted and refitted in order to compensate for any subsidence in the building. This saves a lot of time and effort during installation.
