"Modern insulating glass technology, however, has developed rapidly and ensures immense solar energy gains. That you are literally heating for the street with wide glazing is a myth."

It is advisable to pay attention to the heat transfer coefficient of the glazing. The lower this is, the lower the heat loss. "With modern triple glazing, the value is around 0.7," Grönegräs concludes. "This ensures that you can comfortably, wholesome and economically enjoy a piece of the natural panorama in your own four walls every day."
