The Bucky Lab is a programme by Deflt University of Technology for Master degree facade students. In 2020, the programme was entirely dedicated to BIPV - building-integrated photovoltaics. Here you see a prototype by students Elke Mulders, Myrthe Peet, Namrata Baruah, Ninah Hubregtse.
PV panels are mostly produced focused on efficiency, but the aesthetics and art of architecture are often neglected. Stained Solar focuses on bridging this gap by creating stained glass that generates energy using PV. The product resembles a stained window with its look, craft and transparency and can be cut into rounded shapes which makes it adaptable to all window styles.
