Miru eWindow technology uses electricity to control the tint level of the glass, automatically adjusting to let in natural light while controlling heat gain and glare. The eWindows aim to reduce the use of air conditioning to lower greenhouse gas emissions while increasing the energy efficiency of buildings by up to 20 per cent.

How will Glaston and Miru continue to work together?
Glaston and Miru are currently working on further developing their respective technologies to expand Miru eWindows' production capacity. The Miru solution is being developed and tested at Glaston's R&D facility in Tampere, Finland.
