The decision to close the float glass line was taken based on an assessment of the current demand and supply situation in the Architectural Glass market in Central Europe. Nevertheless, the general expectation is for steady market growth in the long term.

It is anticipated that the production will cease in the summer of 2024, around 12 months ahead of the planned repair which will commence in June 2025. The NSG Group does not expect any material additional one-off costs or redundancies as a result of the early closure of the float line.
