Over 6.5 billion euros in ongoing investments

Şişecam acquired Italian refractories manufacturer Refel in early 2022 to ensure the sustainability of its investments.

Kırman: "2022 was a crucial year for Şişecam. We broke ground for our plant in Hungary - our first investment in glass packaging in Europe. We also announced our investment in a new float furnace and processing line in Mersin.

Currently, Şişecam's investments total more than €6.5 billion worldwide. By 2023, Şişecam aims to grow rapidly and in a targeted manner with its production facilities in 14 countries and 24,000 employees worldwide.
