Dino Zandonella Necca has now been elected as the new GIMAV President, his four-year term will last until 2026. Further, the Directors have also been newly elected, their term will last from 2022 to 2024.

Dino Zandonella Necca is CEO and President of ADI Srl and a member of the Board of Surfaces Group. He was previously President of Vitrum Messe, which he chaired from 2015 - 2018.
Michele Gusti, the previous GIMAV President, said on handing over his office: "My best wishes go to my friend and colleague Dino, who will be an excellent steer for the association, as he was for Vitrum Fair."
Confident about the future
In his first speech as President of the Association, Dino Zandonella Necca stressed the importance of strengthening the dynamics of the glass machinery sector: "I am grateful to the members who have given me the honour of leading GIMAV. I will strive to continue the modernisation work we have embarked on together, thanks to the assured and enlightened leadership of my friend Michele Gusti."

He continued: "I believe that our association will continue to play a key role in promoting and defending the interests of both our sector and the entire Italian glass supply chain, as it is unique in the world in that it draws directly on the origins that created and developed its unique history, tradition and culture. At this point we would also like to highlight the 'Italian Glass Weeks', an event that will take place from10 September."
