This is because by using the Saflex LiteCarbon Clear interlayer in AGC's LSG units, CO2-reduced laminated safety glass can be offered for construction and facade projects.
Products for low-CO2 LSG
‘Saflex LiteCarbon Clear’ is a 0.76 mm thick PVB film with a reduced global warming potential (GWP) of 2.4 kg CO2 eq/m². AGC's ‘Low-Carbon Glass’ also has a reduced global warming potential of only 5.5 kg CO2 eq/m² for 4 mm thick float glass.
