Sun shading with extra-light insulating glass
For (glass) facades and windows, Saint-Gobain has developed the extra-light insulating glass Climatop Eclaz Solar Extra Light, which protects against heat penetration, has very good insulating properties and achieves a daylight penetration of TL/g: 70/38. Another advantage is the reduced weight. In the triple insulating glass construction (3/12/2/12/3), the weight saving compared to conventional insulating glass is around 33 per cent. For fabricators, the lightweight glass means easier handling in production and during installation.
Extra-white glass for bathrooms
The Saint-Gobain Timeless shower glass stands for long-lasting transparency. In combination with the extra-white basic glass Diamant, there is a new generation for the bathroom, which is sustainably protected against corrosion by a special Magnetron coating, according to SGG.
The coating is permanent and not applied subsequently and will not be washed off over the years. The shower screen can also be cleaned easily with a cloth. Special brilliance is created when Timeless is used on extra-white Diamant glass. Timeless on extra-white diamond glass can be processed like normal glass. Ceiling-high glazing is also possible.
