Şişecam undertakes projects and initiatives designed to raise awareness of the benefits of energy-efficient coated glass while conducting production, development and R&D activities for such products. As part of this effort, Şişecam attended the Zero Energy Buildings (ZEB) event ZeroBuild’22 Forum held at TÜYAP last week, within the 44th Turkeybuild Istanbul.

In the "Material Management for Reducing Carbon Emissions in Buildings" session of the forum, Şişecam’s presentation explained how its products help reduce carbon emissions and in the “nZEB and Thermal Insulation” session – devoted to near-Zero Energy Buildings, further information about the impacts of nZEB on the flat glass industry from a legal and regulatory perspective was given. Şişecam informed the sector professionals about its exclusive products developed for effective energy saving and the wide range of insulating glass at the forum. The Isıcam K 3+ test tunnel received a great deal of attention from forum attendees who had the opportunity to experience first hand the benefits of thermal insulation.
