The new CNC machining centre is able to precisely grind, edge, drill and mill both mono and laminated glass. It also offers high productivity and versatility when using and processing different types of glass.
According to the developers, the system is the first vertical CNC processing centre that can grind and polish with two heads simultaneously.
A minimum of space consumption
As it is a vertical system, the Ypsos requires significantly less space than horizontal systems. This is particularly interesting for glass processors with limited space and is available in 3 versions.
New software has been developed to match the new Ypsos in order to make the user interface more efficient: Based on the selected configuration, the Ypsos can perform rebating, polishing and grinding operations as well as milling and coaxial drilling. The system enables the machining of small and large parts up to 6000 × 3300 mm.
The Ypsos, which is available in three standard sizes, can be used as a stand-alone machine, in line with a drilling/milling machine or combined with an insulating glass line.
