Topic of the Week: Vacuum lifters

Battery-powered hand-held vacuum handling devices – a handy solution

The development of this equipment was preceded by intensive practical tests in which the German euroTech Vertriebs GmbH put the devices through their paces to find out whether they are really suitable for the everyday work in industry and trade. All tests with the lifting devices were successfully carried out and completed, as euroTech emphasises.

Two variants have made it into the euroTech programme and are now offered as eT-Grabo-NemoPro and eT-Grabo-Otto.

The eT-Grabo-NemoPro is a further development of the original Grabo unit and has been designed in particular for continuous professional use on construction sites and in production.

What makes the eT-Grabo units so strong?

Anyone who has to lift and transport glass, wood, tiles or slabs of any kind on a daily basis will be amazed at how easy and ergonomic it is to pick up materials with the eT-Grabo-NemoPro, according to the device's developers.

This has a narrower and more ergonomic handle, a digital instead of analogue pressure gauge as well as automatic regulation of the suction power to maintain the vacuum. The display of the eT-Grabo-NemoPro shows in psi or bar how strong the vacuum is and what load capacity can be achieved with it.

What the new eT-Grabo-Otto can do

In addition to this professional tool, euroTech Vertriebs also offers the latest manual lifting product from Grabo - the eT-Grabo-Otto. It was specially designed for smooth surfaces.

Depending on the surface and the starting point, the eT-Grabo-NemoPro can hold up to 170 kilograms. It holds on to smooth, structured, porous and even moist surfaces made of glass, metal, wood, natural stone, concrete, plaster drywall, ceramics, vinyl and much more.

The versatile device comes in a practical transport bag with a seal, a battery and several adapters for different countries.

This unit's intelligent control system remembers the optimum suction force and automatically dials it in. This increases safety and saves time and energy.

The eT-Grabo-Otto is lighter, smaller and easier to handle than the eT-Grabo-NemoPro and holds up to 68 kilos. In size and handling, it is similar to the manual suction lifters used in the glass trade, but it is more practical.

Its special design for smooth surfaces makes it the ideal tool for glass processors and glaziers when it comes to easy and ergonomic lifting.

Like the eT-Grabo-NemoPro, it is also equipped with an intelligent sensor for loss of pressure. In addition, the eT-Grabo-Otto scores with a battery compartment for standard AAA batteries, available everywhere.

Both devices feature high ergonomics and are easy and reliable to operate, according to the developers. Bulky loads can be handled better and are therefore easier on the back and joints, thus creating real relief for all craftsmen and fitters.
