The new sedak bending furnace is designed for the serial production of cylindrically bent toughened safety glass and partially tempered glass in XXL formats of 3.6 x 18 metres. Bending and tempering are carried out in a single production process. A new technology allows the bending radius to be changed quickly and accurately, so that projects with different geometries can be produced in rapid succession. Depending on the width, it is possible to bend curved glass with a minimum radius of 1,000 millimetres.

Currently, the sedak bending furnace is already processing the first orders. A large order with glass up to 11 metres long is scheduled to be produced in early summer of 2022.
Architectural curved glass in any shape
sedak offers the complete spectrum of curved glass in almost any shape. Depending on the glass geometry, the glass panes are manufactured using the appropriate process. In addition to thermal bending of toughened and partially tempered safety glass, sedak offers the bending of laminated glass for glass up to 20 metres and gravity bending for almost any architectural shape. The bent glass is further processed into security and insulating glass and, just like flat glass, can be subjected to sedak's complete range of services from gold printing to bullet-proofing.
