Glas Müller not only covers the entire construction glass spectrum - from float glass to mirrors to insulating glass, which is produced in-house, but also scores points with niche and special products that many large glass processors do not cover due to special sizes, special shapes. For example, Glas Müller AG also offers products with special functions, such as LED mirror cabinets and movable glass windbreaks.
In addition, the glazier offers a 24-hour emergency service for Zurich and the surrounding area, which, in the event of break-ins or broken windows, delivers emergency glazing and replacement windows within the shortest possible time.
Proven in use: the Lisec GTI insulating glass machine from 1986
With a proud 36 years and full production capability, a Lisec GTI insulating glass machine still supports the production process of insulating glass at the glazier in Zurich and is mainly used for repairs and insulating glass for cat flap holes.

Peter Stöcklin, Managing Director of Glas Müller, is convinced of the Lisec machine: "So far, the system has not caused any major problems. Some spare parts have been replaced over the years and the washing machine has been replaced once. The bottom line is that the system has been in use throughout. And we want it to stay that way."
Worth its weight in gold
With this in mind, a general overhaul by Lisec After Sales Service was only recently requested. "Especially for niche products such as insulating glass with holes for cats, this plant is worth its weight in gold and does the name Lisec credit," says Peter Stöcklin.
The company continues to focus on niche products with a fast delivery time and individual customisation directly for the customer. In order for these goals to remain feasible, the Lisec system must also be kept up to date accordingly, and not just supplied with spare parts.
What is Lisec LongLife all about?
In addition to this special offer of a general overhaul of the vintage insulating glass unit, Lisec's LongLife programme offers targeted conversions and improvements to the units, especially for machines built after 2000, which can increase the service life of many machines.
The Lisec After Sales Service provides modifications that go beyond normal spare parts sales. These include PC upgrades, drive conversions and similar conversions/improvements.

Preventive replacement of obsolete elements restores spare parts supply and service for a longer period of time. This ranges from upgrades to drives and industrial PCs to the complete replacement of the machine control system. The advantage lies in the modernisation of the machines at low costs in relation to the new acquisition of a corresponding machine. The solid basic substance of the machine remains intact.
