“We’ve reduced our Eco door to the essentials, focusing on the tried-and-tested basic elements and eliminating aspects that can be dispensed with under certain structural conditions. By doing so, we’re making our most affordable front door construction not only cost-efficient but also easy to process. For example, locks can be inserted into the door much more quickly and straightforwardly as there is no need to adapt the sealing material. This minimises material and processing costs as well as the amount of work involved. In addition to material and cost savings, the Eco aluminium construction also provides huge benefits in terms of processing,” explains Dirk Vollmer, product manager at Hueck. Intelligent optimisation and sensible streamlining are a matter of course in the Hueck company philosophy.
Hueck Lambda DS 075 is a modular system encompassing three variants of aluminium door profiles, each with a profile depth of 75 mm. Thanks to Hueck’s intelligent component-sharing principle, the identical aluminium profile can be fitted with different insulating system components in order to meet a variety of thermal requirements for doors. Likewise, the use of identical fittings for each variant reduces storage costs and improves flexibility.
Pro variant for maximum insulation
In terms of the stipulated thermal insulation requirements, the Pro, Plus and Eco variants are fundamentally different from one another and are suitable for meeting a range of insulation needs. The Eco variant was developed for use in situations with low requirements for thermal insulation, such as in simple front doors in apartment buildings or in the public sector. For maximum thermal insulation requirements, Hueck offers the Pro variant as part of its product portfolio. This variant is used in individual houses where the front door leads directly into the heated living room and where maximum insulation requirements must be met.
The performance characteristics of the Hueck Lambda DS 075 door construction have undergone comprehensive testing according to the product standard EN 14351-1. All three insulation variants therefore meet the thermal insulation requirements of the German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV).
RC3 break-in protection available
The variants of Hueck Lambda DS 075 for inward- and outward-opening door leaves allow thicknesses of up to 54 mm for glazing and door fillings, and they can also be used for door sizes of max. 1,500 mm x 3,100 mm and door leaf weights of max. 300 kg. Moreover, they offer break-in protection of up to RC3 in accordance with DIN-EN 1627. The Hueck Lambda DS 075 modular system is compatible with the highly thermally insulated Hueck Lambda DS 075 FD front door series and the Hueck Lambda WS 075 window series, which offer uniformity of appearance.

Even in demanding applications, the use of aluminium as a construction material ensures the durability of the door construction. Moreover, the aluminium construction of Hueck Lambda DS 075 offers a solution with a high degree of recyclability. For example, the Hueck Lambda DS 075 modular system is Cradle to Cradle Certified. As a founding member of A|U|F, Hueck takes care to ensure sustainable aluminium recycling as a matter of course.
