Today's pergola awnings have one thing in common: They are more versatile and less expensive than a conservatory. Furthermore, air can circulate under a pergola awning and such systems can be attached to the wall of almost any house. And their supporting posts also make them more stable in wind. For this reason, manufacturer markilux has continued to expand its range of pergola products over the course of time.
Accessories for wet weather protection
The original model of this kind was the "pergola classic". It came was given a number of accessories to make it suitable for providing wet weather protection: Matching vertical roller blinds and the shadeplus function give all-round weather protection system. And there are also lighting and heating options.
Variety in shape and size
The first pergola model concentrated primarily on size, covering up to 30 square metres. But several units can be added to it. The next step was a model for smaller areas: the "pergola compact". This awning is suitable for areas up to 18 square metres. Unlike its sister model, this smaller pergola is based on an angular design.

Next came an XXL format with a new drive system: the "pergola stretch". Areas of up to 175 square metres can be covered and its cover is transported in a similar way to that of a roof festoon. This year, the product range is to be expanded once again, this time by way of the "pergola cubic". Technically, it is identical to the "pergola classic", but once again more angular in its design.
