In addition to its German flagship stores, markilux also operates showrooms abroad. One of these is located just 16 kilometres north-east of Sydney, in the suburb of Brookvale. The German brand has been represented in Australia with its own showroom for around 13 years. In order to continue its growth "Down Under", the company has moved into a new location in Brookvale.
markilux expects more walk-in customers
The new location offers optimal conditions to make the brand better known. It is easier to reach for end customers and, above all, highly visible. In addition, there is more parking space.

The company therefore expects additional walk-in customers and more intensive use of the showroom, which is also used for training purposes. With about 80 square metres, it is roughly the same size as the previous one. In addition, there would now be a good 50 square metres of outdoor space, which markilux intends to use for its products for large-scale shading.
Showrooms are important calling cards for the brand
"We are showing an attractive selection of folding arm awnings, our 'pergola classic', the 879 under-glass awning, various vertical awnings as well as side elements for privacy and weather protection. And outside, we present the 'pergola stretch', among others," Peer Cornelßen, Department Manager for International Sales explains.

After all, large sun protection systems are also in demand abroad. Only recently, markilux was able to realise a large project on a winery near Sydney.
