AGC Glass Europe launches low-CO2 glass

At glasstec 2022, AGC officially launched its new low-CO2 float glass, developed as part of AGC's "Road to Carbon Neutrality". It is said the new glass has a CO2 footprint of less than 7 kg/m2 CO2 for 4 mm thick glass.

Good mood in Düsseldorf: with 936 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors from 119 countries, glasstec once again underlined its reputation as the world's leading trade fair for the glass sector during the four days of the fair.

For this edition of the glasstec trade fair, Forel, a specialist in vertical glass processing, had once again enlarged its stand. According to Forel, it wanted to present itself as one of the "must-see" exhibitors. A number of innovations focussing on automation in IGU production and operational logistics have been presented.

According to Bohle, the Liftmaster Quadro Pro models are the first battery-powered lifting systems with GS certification. They thus comply with DIN EN 13155 and are subject to regular product and production audits.
