That was glasstec 2024 – a trade fair retrospective

For four days, Düsseldorf was the focus of the international glass industry. From 22 to 25 October 2024, 1257 exhibitors from 50 countries showcased their latest machines, systems and products for glass manufacturing and processing. The number of trade visitors totalled 32,000 from 121 countries.

The Hydro Group completed the acquisition of Hueck, manufacturer of aluminium systems for facades, on 28 February 2023, following approval by the competition authorities in Germany and Austria. The acquisition strengthens Hydro Building Systems' position in Europe and increases its presence.
