Fineo Hybrid represents an important technological step forward for sustainable window and new-build construction, as more delicate windows and facades save resources and achieve very good values for daylight transmission, thermal insulation and sound insulation with Fineo. Due to the low glass thicknesses, this glass can also be used very well in renovation projects.

The customised "Fineo Hybrid" insulating glass, with an integrated vacuum glass unit, insulate better than the majority of triple insulating glass available, and that with installation depths from 22 mm. At the same time, these glass panes offer sound insulation of Rw = 38 dB thanks to the integrated vacuum element.
Also used in new builds and project business
Fineo glass with hybrid technology is increasingly being used in new builds and project business. For example, in the "Belnine" project (Brussels, Belgium), which required not only maximum thermal insulation and maximum daylight transmission but also a particularly high level of sound insulation, as the building is located on a main traffic artery.
Fineo Hybrid met all the requirements and, thanks to the low thickness of the insulating glass, the facade could be made more delicate in favour of higher daylight transmission and more space inside the building.

The materials used for the Fineo, which has been awarded "Cradle to Cradle silver", are environmentally friendly, lead-free and 100 per cent recyclable. The vacuum glass, the only product of its kind produced in Europe (Belgium), is approved under the European EOTA programme and has received National Technical Approval (ATG) in Belgium and Avis Technique in France. AGC Glass Europe actually now offers a 20-year warranty on the monolithic Fineo unit integrated into the structure.
