To meet this demand, Glas Marte has developed the delicate, frameless sliding door system GM Lightroll 10/12, room-high glazing that provides an unobstructed view of the outdoors.
With its comfort package this system, with up to five tracks, has special product advantages: the guide track is only 16 mm in size, making it so low that the conservatory is fully accessible for the disabled.
Thanks to its “driver system”, the sliding panes can be coupled together, so that they can be moved simultaneously in one direction or another. The driver can be unlocked by simply tapping it gently with your foot. Glas Marte received the iF Award for this development.
The runner of the sliding door system perfectly protects the glass edges of the doors, while the locking bolt and pressure cylinder locks provide additional protection. The sliding system is easy for the fitter to install.
With its portfolio of one- to five-track, top-suspended and bottom-running systems, the manufacturer Glas Marte covers a broad range from ground-level terrace glazing to balcony glazing in multi-storey buildings: with glass thicknesses from 6 to 24 mm, all structural engineering requirements are fulfilled, despite the systems being particularly exposed to wind and weather, according to the developers.
