It was Jonas Pfannenstill, Area Sales Manager for Softsolution GmbH, who had the honour of receiving the Best Tech Award in the category Software, VR & AI at Vitrum 2023. Specifically, the award was for Softsolution’s technology as part of a scanner software that had been presented at Vitrum 2023.

The official award ceremony took place during the Best Tech Awards, celebrating the best technologies presented at Vitrum 2023. Winners were selected based on the opinions of visitors present at the exhibition.
The winners in the three other categories
Category Accessories, Components & Other Glass Technologies: Tecnovati Com received this award for its product Tecno Sunblock, a thermochromic glass that blocks the heat from sunlight by changing its state from transparent to opaque as the temperature rises, without the need for manual or electrical intervention.
Category Robots & Automation: Adelio Lattuada Srl won for their robotic solutions, which bring advantages in terms of flexibility, productivity, safety, energy saving and cost reduction.
Category Flat Glass Technologies: Forel SpA received the Best Tech Award for six patented technologies developed during 2023, including one for the application of thermoplastic profiles.
It is notable that of the four winners, Softsolutions was the only non-Italian company that received an award.
