Semco organises first Kids Day with more to follow

‘Kids Day is a good example of how we can work together as a community to show children new ways and encourage them even more in their development through exercise and sport,’ says Henning Dierks, Mayor of Bad Zwischenahn in northern Germany where the Kids Day took place last week.

The action days initiated by Semco are intended to reach children from all walks of life in the respective cities.

In conjunction with the Oldenburg-based association Baskets4Life e.V., which Semco supports as a sponsor, the basic ideas of basketball and values such as respect, trust, responsibility, positive energy and fairplay are to be conveyed.

Background: Exclusion has far-reaching negative consequences and represents a serious social problem - also for society as a whole, according to those responsible at Semco.

Who else supports the Semco Kids Days?

Semco and Baskets4Life e.V. are supported on Semco Kids Day by Pronova BKK and the List Group as well as other regional partners at the venue - in Bad Zwischenahn by the high school and primary school and the Astrid Lindgren School in Edewecht.
