Hunter Douglas will also be at R+T 2024: "After the Corona crisis and the economic uncertainty, we are looking forward to meeting our customers from all over the world. We can proudly present our newly developed products and showcase the output of the entire Hunter Douglas family," says Friedrich W. Petrat, Managing Director Hunter Douglas Components. "For us, maintaining contact with our customers, with the press, indeed you could say with the entire industry, is the most important thing. My favourite product, by the way, is the newly developed Smart Home product group and I'm looking forward to seeing how customers react." After the long break, expectations are high for the upcoming edition of the world's leading trade fair. "R+T is to be seen as a sign that the economic uncertainty is coming to an end. This is the right time to create strategy and sales concepts together with our customers, incorporating newly developed products. We are looking forward to being able to sell actively again", reports Friedrich W. Petrat.
Preparations intensify
"In order to understand our different markets with their respective needs even better, we organised various workshops with exhibitors last year. This gave us interesting insights into the respective sectors and we would now like to incorporate these insights into R+T 2024", explains Philipp Götz, Manager Trade Fair and Event Management at Messe Stuttgart.

In addition to the planning and preparations of the R+T team, the numerous exhibiting companies are also preparing for their trade fair participation in February 2024. "Together with our international colleagues, we have recently started concrete planning for R+T 2024 and definitely have a large number of attractive new products in the pipeline", reveals Joachim Wallenstein, Marketing Manager of Somfy Germany. Communications Manager Joana Cedó of Llaza World also confirms: "Our plans are in full swing, because we want to have everything ready for R+T 2024 and surprise the market." Fabian Cichon, Managing Director of Dickson Constant Germany, already reveals, "Our concept for R+T 2024 is set and we will show our new collection as well as our trend study and some new developments in the screen area." At Hunter Douglas, planning for the trade fair appearance is now also underway. "I can reveal this much, that we are further developing the prototypes of our new developments, which we showed at our documenta exhibition in Kassel, on the recommendation of our customers, so that we can then present them at R+T 2024. An important innovation will be PowerView 3.0, our smart-home offering for sun protection products", Friedrich W. Petrat gives an outlook.
Hall concept remains unchanged
"The thematic hall layout for the last edition of R+T was convincing all along the line and was very well received by our visitors. Therefore, we would like to retain this concept for R+T 2024 and build on it", explains Brenner. The hall concept for R+T 2024 will be as follows: The sun protection sector will be exhibiting as usual in the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1), the Ceratizit Hall (Hall 3), the Mahle Hall (Hall 4), Hall 5, the Oskar Lapp Hall (Hall 6) and in Halls 7 and 9. The doors and gates sector will once again be presenting itself in 2024 in the Alfred Kärcher Hall (Hall 8) and the Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10).
