The forster thermfix vario system is specially designed for use in sophisticated mullion-and-transom facades and combines design freedom with technical excellence. The system offers a functionally diverse toolbox for creative facade design.
A new feature of the system is the extension to burglar resistance up to protection class RC4. This is guaranteed by special triple fixings and clamping blocks on each glass edge, while stainless steel pressure mouldings provide additional stability.

The reinforcement of the profile systems is not visible from the outside, so that individual facade sections can be designed with a uniform look even with different security requirements.
By simply reducing the number of fixings, the lower protection classes RC2 or RC3 can be achieved. This means that even facades with complex functional requirements can be realised consistently with one profile system and the same components.
In addition to the security features, forster thermfix vario impresses with minimal face widths from 45 mm, which ensure a particularly delicate appearance and light-flooded interiors for elements over 4500 mm high.
Whether with transparent or opaque infill - the burglar-resistant facade solution is the ideal choice for prestigious buildings with high demands on security, aesthetics and sustainability.
Last but not least, the recyclable system is made from 100% steel and is optionally available in low carbon emission steel, thus helping to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings.
What forster omnia RC3 does

Forster Profilsysteme AG
With the forster omnia system, Forster is introducing a burglar-resistant window with protection class RC3 and sash weights of up to 250 kg for the first time. The system also impresses with excellent insulation values and achieves a Uf value of up to 1.2 W/m²K in combination with triple insulating glass.
As forster omnia is made of 100 % steel, window constructions with sashes up to 1640 x 2840 mm are possible, with infill thicknesses of almost 70 mm.

Burglar resistance up to RC3 is achieved with screwed glazing beads and additional locking points. This means that the face widths do not differ from the standard version, making forster omnia the ideal choice when a uniform facade design is required.
Like all profile systems from Forster, the new window solution with forster omnia is now also available in the Low Carbon Emission Steel version, which is manufactured with significantly lower CO₂ emissions than conventional steel. The thermally separated construction of the window also does not require plastic insulators, which makes it easier to recycle at the end of a building's life cycle.
