Previously an associate member, Glass for Europe has decided to join Construction Products Europe (CPE) as a full member in 2025. By becoming a full member of CPE, the association that gathers European construction product manufacturers, from SMEs to multinationals, Glass for Europe aims to strengthen the voice of construction materials and ensure that the upcoming Affordable Housing Plan and the Strategy for Housing Construction recognise the role of sustainable and efficient building materials.

Construction Products Europe works to support the sustainable and competitive growth of the European construction products industry. Through dialogue with European institutions and stakeholders, CPE promotes efficient housing and infrastructure solutions. To support CPE’s objectives, the Glass for Europe Secretariat will actively contribute to its several working groups.

This was also an opportunity for the Secretary General of Glass for Europe, Bertrand Cazes, to join the Executive Board meeting. Discussion focused on the Construction Products Regulation implementation, the initiatives on Housing and Competitiveness as well as the recent outreach activities of the association.
