3-million-euro investment in production of LSG interlayers in Italy

Satinal has announced the implementation of a third production line for Strato glass interlayers, set to begin operations in early 2025. The expansion aims to increase production capacity, broaden product offerings, improve inventory levels, streamline processes, and reduce costs. According to Marco Bresciani, Strato Business Unit Director, the investment reflects strong market demand for Satinal's high-quality, Made in Italy products and years of experience in glass interlayer extrusion.

The company is also strengthening its position in the architectural and solar power sectors and plans ongoing investments to boost production capacity. Each production line will produce up to 2,000 tons per year, equating to over 6 million square meters of glass interlayers annually per line.

R&D and quality control

Satinal is committed to sustainability through renewable energy, waste reduction and innovative production methods. Its manufacturing facility operates entirely on renewable energy, significantly reducing its carbon footprint. The company has also achieved near-zero landfill waste, enhancing both environmental impact and brand reputation.
