Why profine is now also extruding in Bosnia-Herzegovina

"We now produce the goods where they are needed. With the guiding principle of decentralised production and less transport, we are also making a positive contribution to sustainability," says profine's COO Christian Amling. "In 2023, we then want to meet the very positive market demand even more comprehensively with production in a new building, which is currently being finalised, with eight more extruders and a capacity of over 10,000 tonnes per year."

The system provider has been represented by a sales company in the Bosnian city of Tuzla and later Živinice since 1998. As early as 2004, profine had installed a foiling plant there. Today, there are a total of four corresponding plants, which make it possible to serve customer requirements in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region very flexibly.

Establishing the new location is a major step

Peter Mrosik, managing partner of the profine group, travelled to Živinice for the start of the extrusion. In his speech, he particularly emphasised the output of the profine technical team from Germany and Bosnia-Herzegovina, which had brought the project to operational readiness in an exceptionally short time.

The CEO also emphasised the strategic aspect of the investment: "With the start of extrusion in Bosnia-Herzegovina, we are continuing our international expansion and sending a clear signal to our partners and our joint success in the region. The new location is a major step for the profine Group!"
