Divided into morning and afternoon programmes, the students from local vocational schools had the opportunity to spend half a school day at Lisec. The programme consisted of a company presentation, a tour of the company and getting to know different departments. The insights into the software development, automation, technical sales support, design and IT service departments were particularly interesting.
Here, the students were able to learn about the diverse tasks in these areas and have their questions answered directly by Lisec employees. The programme was rounded off with plenty of food and additional activities, such as vintage arcade games.
Another highlight of the day was the opportunity to witness live how an insulating glass unit is manufactured. At this station, the students received detailed information about the structure of insulating glass and further information about Lisec machines.
