Fire protection facade

Hueck introduces new Trigon FS facade system

Johannes Driessen, Hueck Product Manager, highlights that the new system is based on the same constructive principles as the original Trigon system, ensuring compatibility while incorporating the benefits of earlier fire protection designs like the Trigon 50 FP30.

The system is available in 50 and 60mm elevation widths and supports both mullion/transom and transom/transom constructions. The fire protection facade has been tested under DIN EN 1364-3 and achieves fire resistance classifications E 30, EW 30 and EI 30.

It offers unlimited height and width, with a maximum mullion spacing of 3,022mm. It can handle infill weights up to 1,000kg, allowing for large glass panels (1,500 x 3,000mm) in both portrait and landscape formats.

Flexibility and Safety

The new facade is compatible with Hueck's Lava 77-30 CE fire protection series, including both single and double-leaf fire protection doors. The system meets modern energy efficiency standards and provides sound insulation up to 46 decibels. It can also be designed as a burglar-resistant facade, meeting RC2 and RC3 requirements.

Economical and Sustainable Design

Hueck prioritises cost-effective processing, integrating identical parts across series for easy assembly. The system is complemented by a range of accessories and tools, and comprehensive documentation is available for architects and planners.

Sustainability is also a focus, with the profiles available in Hydro CIRCAL 75R, an aluminium alloy made from 75% post-consumer scrap, offering a low carbon footprint. An even more eco-friendly version, Hydro CIRCAL 100R, can be produced on request.

This new fire protection facade system continues Hueck's commitment to innovation, safety and sustainability, catering to the evolving needs of the construction industry.
