Many international visitors, many of them decision-makers
Over75 per cent of the trade visitors came to Düsseldorf from abroad. This means that the proportion of international guests continues to be at a very high level and confirms the globally leading position of glasstec for the industry in the "International Year of Glass".
This has been proclaimed by the United Nations for 2022 to honour the scientific, economic and cultural significance of glass as a material and its important role in future issues such as climate protection and CO2 reduction.
The high proportion of executives involved in investment decisions, at 75 per cent, also underlines the high quality of the fair. Overall, visitors were highly satisfied with the range of products and services at glasstec.
Well over 90 per cent stated that they had achieved their goals for the fair. For a large proportion, the focus was on the search for new suppliers as well as innovations and trends.
It is not only the wide range of products and services offered by exhibitors that makes glasstec so attractive for decision-makers but also the top-class complementary programme with special shows and conferences.
