Biesse presents new machine portfolio on 5 continents

With the opening of five special experience rooms, also known as Material Hubs, Biesse is presenting the new machine portfolio on all continents at the same time.

When developing the current portfolio, the company started with the customers' applications. Based on this, the machine configurations for various areas of application were analysed and optimally compiled packages were developed for each application. An extensive catalogue of options ensures flexibility.

New names, proven quality

The new, logically structured naming concept describes across all material areas which processing the machine performs and for which application segments it is suitable, divided into trade, medium-sized companies and industry.

The structure of the machine name begins with the brand for the material to be processed, followed by the type and finally the segment. In a nutshell: Material brand + type + segment = machine name. For example, a Rover Cut Go refers to a single machine from the wood sector in the form of a saw for craftsmen.

Classification by material, type and segment

There are two material brands in all material sectors, one for stand-alone machines and one for ‘extended machines’, i.e. machines that already include automation as standard.

These are Intermac and Forvet in the glass sector, Master and Genius in the stone sector, Explora and Krea in the Materia sector and Rover and Stream in the woodworking sector.

Depending on the material sector, there are up to five machine types: Cut, Edge, Drill, Fin and Multi, for the most diverse types of processing.

The segment designations Go, Up and Pro help users to categorise their requirements. The Go segment is ideal for tradesmen, while small businesses and medium to large companies are best served by the Up and Pro segments, depending on their requirements.

Innovative service and support package

The new Remote Assistance Package - an innovative and practical service and support offer - is designed to provide more service and smooth operational processes. Thanks to seamless machine connectivity, the processor receives technical feedback within just four hours - or even within one hour, as an option.
