Both SG products are optimised for the lateral application of the primary seal. This aids precise application down to the last millimetre of Super Spacer during automated processing. “The great advantage of this new product is that now manufacturers of free-form XXL glazing for complex structural glazing facades can ensure a more robust edge seal, regardless of whether the spacer is applied manually or automatically," explains Christoph Rubel, European Technical Manager at Edgetech Europe GmbH.
TriSeal SG rounds off the Super Spacer product range for manual processing. "Where complex projects are concerned, a mixture of changing formats and shapes are often used, and not all variants can be produced automatically. By means of the TriSeal SG product, our customers can now ensure that the edge seal has a consistent appearance when using Super Spacer in structural glazing facades," explains Joachim Stoss Managing Director of Edgetech Europe GmbH and Vice President International Sales at Quanex.
