Not only in closed position - windows can also resist burglary attempts in tilt position. The overall construction of the window - consisting of the Schüco aluminium profile, SimplySmart OpenSecure fitting and impact-resistant glazing - has been tested and certified by ift Rosenheim to resistance class RC 2 ("Resistance Class 2") in accordance with EN 1627.

This is made possible by the addition of five security components to the well-known SimplySmart mechanical hardware:
- Security guides secure the window in the open tilt position.
- Stops regulate the opening width.
- Impact stars secure open screw heads and thus prevent attempts at manipulation.
- The combination of an RC case and a bolt piece with latch secures the tilted window in the lower area.
- No additional tools are required for manufacture and installation

Notify the insurance company that the building will be equipped with windows that offer burglary resistance up to resistance class RC 2 even in the tilt position.

Thanks to this new configuration of the SimplySmart OpenSecure hardware system, the window can be tilted when locked (tilt-before-turn). A key is only needed to unlock the tilt position, e.g. for shock ventilation, cleaning and maintenance.
Fits all standard Schüco AWS systems
The new fitting technology can be integrated into all standard basic depths of the Schüco Aluminium Window System (AWS) modular system and retrofitted with the appropriate pre-configuration - for example, in AWS 75 SI+, in AWS 90 SI+ and in the flush-fitted systems AWS 75 BS.SI+ or AWS 90 BS.SI+.
